Insurrection is a dark, cyber chic fashion story directed by Stephen Bell. Set against a background of violence and betrayal, the film recreates a dystopian “tomorrow” characterized by alienation and cold corporate comforts, slyly suggesting that the future is now. The film was styled by Sam Voltage and draws from AW09 collections including Issey Miyake, Junya Watanabe, Nina Ricci, Lie Sang Bong. Produced, directed and edited by Spring69.

This visual was made for the new Mulberry store in Heathrow's Terminal 5. The idea was to create a playful and engaging in-store display that would fit the store’s innovative interior design. We produced it in this unusual vertical format to display on large specially designed vertical screens.

We wanted to combine time lapse footage with the models and decided to capture everything in camera. We also created some light based projections and animations which we projected on and around the models. It was a tricky shoot in a wonderfully unequipped studio in Prague but we're pleased with the overall effect and the richness the effect gives the final piece.

This clip is from the Essential Looks Glamour Collection film. We filmed the models at Briese Studios in Hamburg over three days. The models were all shot against white and we later composited them with the animated backdrops of illustrations and ink drops in water. The track is "Have Love Will Travel" by The Sonics.
